Emergency Connectivity Funding (ECF)
The brand new Emergency Connectivity Fund Program (ECF) provides funding for much-needed school technology. Eligible funding for this program allows for end-user equipment and additional internet bandwidth for distance learning. This includes:
- Wi-fi hotspots
- Internet for students, school staff and library patrons
This new program is intended to provide underserved students and staff that do not have the necessary equipment to engage in remote learning during the next school year. Additional funds may be available to schools for equipment purchased during the 2020-2021 school year.
The new ECF program will be managed in a very similar way as the Erate program by USAC. Grant Consulting Services, LLC has over a dozen years of Erate experience with millions of dollars awarded to the schools we work with.
